Hamzah's haj unpaid bills

It was definitely not normal for Garuda's Finance Manager, Abdul Mutolib to visit the Vice-President's Secretariat at Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta in early April. Later it was reported that he came to collect unpaid air ticket and excess baggage charges of Vice President Hamzah Haz's haj entourage in February.

Reports of these back payments surfaced in a media article report at the end of April. The total bill was US$121,317 or around
