LAST Tuesday, applause reverberated around the meeting room on floor VI of the Department of Political & Security Affairs building on Jl. Merdeka Barat, Jakarta as former Free Aceh Movement (GAM) Commander of Field Operations, Teungku Amri bin Abdul Wahab approached the podium. Clad in a short-sleeved maroon shirt, Amri carefully surveyed the room before taking the stand. He stopped to take a deep breath before speaking.
