INTERIM replacements will soon become an epidemic in the House of Representatives (DPR). The mechanism for replacing a House member in the midst of his/her term, popularly called a recall, has been endorsed. The procedure is contained in one of the articles in the Law on the Composition and Status of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the Regional Houses of Representatives (DPRD), which was endorsed on Wednesday two weeks ago.
