THE rainy season has come with a vengeance; the water pouring from the heavens seems never to stop. There is, however, another "rain" that is connected with the registration of legislature candidates in a number of political parties. In this case it is not rain that is pouring down but money. Those aspiring to seats in the legislature have begun to shell out big money to smooth the passage of their candidacies for the 2004 election.
