NU-Muhammadiyah Discuss Idul Fitri

THE Nahdlatul Ulama Central Executive Board (PBNU) and Muhammadiyah Central Executive Board (PP Muhammadiyah) will jointly try to determine the first day of Shawwal 1428 H. The agreement is a follow-up to the two organizations' dialog initiated by Vice President Jusuf Kalla, Monday last week. Both will meet up to five times prior to the joint isbat (new-moon sighting) meeting held October 11.
