THE massive electronic ID card (e-KTP) corruption scandal has entered a new chapter. Two witnesses in former House of Representatives (DPR) Speaker Setya Novanto’s court trial have implicated chairs of DPR factions in the 2009-2014 period, who are said to not only have been aware of the budget plans, but to also have enjoyed using the funds allocated for the project, causing the state Rp2.3 trillion in losses.
