Polemic over Israeli National Team

VARIOUS circles in the country reject the participation of the Israeli national soccer team in the U-20 World Cup in Indonesia. A group of people staged a demonstration on March 20 at the Arjuna Wijaya Statue, Central Jakarta, calling for a boycott of Israel. The protesters urged the government not to facilitate the country’s national team from competing in Bali in May.
