CAK Nur died at Pondok Indah Hospital last week, Monday noon. From his closest inner circle we obtained a description of his last moments. During those moments he was quite tranquil while the Al-Ikhlas and Yaassin letters were read out. Rahmat Hidayat, his personal assistant, recalled that several times, when he was thought to be sound asleep, Cak Nur muttered softly that the reading of the holy verses should not be stopped.
