The potentials of Indonesia's creative economy seem better than significant. In 2017, the sector contributed Rp990 trillion to Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), an increase from Rp852 trillion in 2015-7.38-percent of the country's 2015 GDP. Unsurprisingly, the government established the Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) two years ago, to prepare the sector to become one of Indonesia's main economic pillars by 2030.
