THERE is good news prior to the second round of the presidential election next month. Last week, President Megawati Sukarnoputri appointed nine ad hoc judges for corruption cases. These appointments followed the decision to set up a corruption court at the Central Jakarta District Court. The nine ad hoc judges were selected from more than 300 applicants.
