The judges handling the Tommy Suharto review case have all tendered their resignations, troubled by rumors of terror and bribery.

JUDGES being terrorized in the course of their work and rumored to be receiving bribes are nothing out of the ordinary. These are the occupational hazards of being a judge. But if such terror and rumors become the cause of judges withdrawing from a case, that is indeed to be regretted. Clearly, they are not judges who are strong in their principles.
