THE national exams are important as a way to measure the success of the education program. These examinations, which take place simultaneously across the nation, containing the same questions throughout, provide a picture of the quality of education in every corner of the country. Efforts to improve the system can be targeted. But problems appear when the results of these tests are used to determine whether students graduate or not.
