IF the agreement between the government and the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) leads to permanent peace in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Hamid Awaludin deserves some of the credit. As Justice & Human Rights Minister, Hamid represented the Indonesian government at the signing of the peace accord. This hard work took much thought and time.
