Changing Golkar

IT may not be easy for Golkar to be a party that supports the government. The main obstacle is its past political stance. The party did not support Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Jusuf Kalla when the two ran for president and vice president, respectively. In both rounds of the direct presidential election, Golkar did not support the SBY-JK ticketa stance that clearly showed some distance between them.
