Another case of state funds embezzlement through tax rebates has come to light. Officials involved should receive the maximum possible sentence.

More than merely breaking the rules, stealing tax money is one of the cruelest of crimes. Corrupt tax officials are betraying people who work productively and pay taxes. The state loses out as there is not enough money to set the economy in motion, and poor people who should be helped end up suffering more.
It is sad that this crime still occurs to this day. This was revealed last week when police detained the head of the tax office in North Jakar
