THE decision by the judges at the South Jakarta District Court upholding the appeal of former SMPN 56 High School teacher Nurlaila, who was accused of running the school illegally, falsifying documents and trespassing, should be welcomed.

The judges praiseworthy stance raises hopes that the rather questionable land exchange involving the high school located in South Jakarta, will be re-examined.
