The government wants to pass a regulation protecting officials from prosecution as a result of their policies, but a better proposition would be to interpret and implement laws correctly.

IN the history of civilized nations, policies established and implemented by administrators have rarely been seen as a legal risk. Policies can be wrong, they can have weaknesses and they may not benefit the majority. They may even fail totally, but none has ever been categorized as a legal offence.
