THE Attorney Generals Office (AGO) has acted appropriately in reopening the case of the national car (Mobnas) project. Perhaps this is in response to the wave of dissatisfaction from the public after the Prosecution issued a document formally ending the investigation into seven foundations owned by former President Suharto.

The order to re-investigate the national car project two weeks ago is seen by some as proof that prosecutors have not placed
