The Threat from Polished Rice

BE careful when you buy rice. The attractive and pleasant smelling white grains may contain chlorine, a harmful chemical. This is usually used to bleach cloth.
This came to light after the Tangerang Food & Drug Monitoring Agency recently took samples of rice from markets recently. These samples were then analyzed in the laboratory, to alarming results. Every sample contained chemicals in varying amounts.
