A Futile Fatwa

The MUI has not revoked its fatwa (religious edict) against the Ahmadiyah sect. If it is unable to deal with differences it should be disbanded.

IT is difficult to refrain from saying that the 33-year-old Indonesian Ulamas Council (MUI) has ‘betrayed’ its own credo.
