Negligence by security personnel, amateurish organization and the behavior of fans caused the loss of lives at a recent music concert. The police’s methods of issuing permits for public events must be reviewed.

TOO many lives have been lost at concerts, yet tragedies continue to happen. This indicates that there has never been any serious effort to prevent accidents. The organization of such concerts lacks professionalism, security personnel are negligent, local governments pay no attention to the suitability of venues and concertgoers often ignore the standards of behavior in a crowd.
