The government plans to block pornographic websites. It will not be effective. Let the people look after their private affairs.

THE government is understandably uncomfortable about pornographic websites. These websites continue to proliferate. Children are free to access them. But this does not mean we automatically agree with the government's plan to block porn sites. The plan shows that the state no longer believes the people are able to manage their own affairs.
