NATIONAL Police Chief, General Bambang Hendarso Danuri, does not believe that it is impossible to eradicate gambling. He once fired a subordinate for failing to stamp out the illegal activity. He took action against a senior officer who allowed gambling to continue. This is clearly good news. Bambang Hendarso is continuing the good work of his predecessor, General Sutanto. We suggest that he not only fire people, but ensure they end up in court.
