How will corruption eradication fare in 2009? The optimistic will reply: “full of challenges”, while the pessimists are bound to say: “dismal”. We prefer the word “endangered”.

THE right answer not only depends on what the government does next year to fight corruption, it also depends on the Corruption Court. But this anticorruption court lacks its own law to regulate it. If this law is not passed before December next year, the only court which has never allowed a corruptor to get away will automatically be disbanded.
