THIS is why non-stop lobbying is important. Two Korean companies purchasing liquefied natural gas (LNG) offered concessions when they were asked to reexamine sales contracts. After almost four years of difficult discussions, the Pohang Iron Steel Company (Posco) and L-Power agreed to raise their price for gas from the Bintuni Gulf, in Papua province, above the previously agreed amount.
