THE Constitutional Court’s decision to play the recordings of the tapped telephone conversations between businessman Anggodo Widjojo and several officials from the National Police and Attorney General’s Office was a historic achievement for the 6-year-old court. It was not the first time recordings have been played in court, but the court made a courageous move in the effort to bring about legal transparency.
