THE Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) seems to want to prove the saying that if things can be made difficult, why should they be made easy? The results of the Bank Century audit were not what the House of Representatives (DPR) was hoping for. Most of the BPK audit merely investigated the weakness of Bank Indonesia’s oversight and the policy to rescue the bank owned by Robert Tantular.
