A form of intervention prevented the airing on SCTV of an investigative program on the prostitution business inside prisons. This is an outright violation of the Constitution.

WHOEVER interferes with the freedom of the press—including Justice & Human Rights Minister Patrialis Akbar—should be punished as severely as possible. The legal sanctions stipulated in Law No. 40/1999 for those who obstruct press freedom apply to all those who prevented and continue to prevent the airing of the Sigi program’s segment on the prostitution business in jails, on SCTV.
