THE scandal behind the thrice-delayed indictment of Bahasyim Assifie cannot be allowed to go unnoticed. Although the prosecutor did eventually demand a 15-year jail sentence for the former tax office chief, it should be noted that it was read out after some collusion was detected. The attorney general must act against prosecutors involved in money laundering and other forms of corruption.
