The suicide bombing in Cirebon shows that radicalism is cropping up everywhere. It is time to take another look at the de-radicalization program.

THE message left by the suicide bombing in Cirebon is: do not restrain radicalism. For any reason whatsoever. Looking at the terrorist problem based only on facts on the ground will not solve the essential question. Repeatedly asking the same cliched questions—new or old terrorists, individuals or groups, this group or that group—will only entrap us in a vicious circle.
