THE failure of our players to win the Indonesian Open last week in Jakarta, showed that the decline in our sports performance has not stopped. This is the third time Indonesia has failed to win on the home front. This means that there has been no effort by the All Indonesia Badminton Association (PBSI) to restore the once ideal performance that netted two gold medals at the1992 Barcelona Olympics.
