A court in The Hague ruled against the Dutch government on an old human rights case in Indonesia. There is no statute of limitations for such offenses.

THERE is much to be learned from the ruling of the civil court at The Hague, the Netherlands on September 14. Presided over by Justice D. A. Schreuder, the court ruled that the Dutch government was in the wrong and instructed it to pay compensation to the widows of the people massacred at Rawagede.
