BUDI Mulya may well find a thousand excuses for the money he 'borrowed' from Robert Tantular, who was at one time the majority shareholder of the ailing Bank Century. Given his position as a senior Bank Indonesia official, however, it will be difficult to find a reason good enough to dispel allegations of wrongdoing. That is the seriousness of the case he faces.
