Political parties always take advantage of natural disasters to seek public sympathy.There must be a regulation on putting up banners.

Flags, banners, posters and all the symbols of mass organizations or political parties put up around flood coordination posts make people uneasy. Especially if these banners have photographs of party chairmen.We also see ,volunteers, handing out T-shirts with logos of their organizations. Governor Joko Widodo was correct when he referred to such activities as hidden campaigning or cheap political promotion.
