A heated debate took place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, a few weeks ago. Some 134 countries fiercely deliberated on the fate of the Internet at the World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT-12). Clearly, the objective of some participants was to ensure that contents in the Internet should be controlled. Fortunately, that attempt failed.
