Local people opposed the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) in Kendal, Central Java. The government must show more determination in enforcing the law.

The police should be ashamed of themselves before the people of Sukorejo, Kendal in Central Java. Last Thursday, these people stood shoulder to shoulder and threw out members of an organization calling itself the Islamic Defenders Front. They had run out of patience after seeing this group enter their village as it pleased, taking the law into its own hands and using violence in the name of religion.
