THE appeal verdict passed by the Jakarta High Court against Indar Atmanto, former managing director of Indosat Mega Media (IM2), shows the ramshackle state of the legal logic and the consciences of the panel members. Instead of considering the large number of legal facts that should have favored Indar, the judges doubled the jail sentence.
