A Chinese-Indonesian woman claims that she is Sukarno's daughter. President Abdurrahman Wahid seems to believe it.

If this story is true, or at least partially true, it is the latest joke coming from the palace. It is not an amusing joke, it brings little laughter, but on the contrary, it comes across as sickening, annoying and tasteless, especially because its source is the palace, a supposedly respected place.
