This is the first time an insurance dispute has turned into a criminal case. This unusual state of affairs began with a report filed by two Allianz customers, Ifranius Algadri and Indah Goena Nanda, with the Jakarta City Police in April. The parties reported were Joachim Wessling, former managing director of Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia, and claims manager Yuliana Firmansyah.
