The House of Representatives (DPR) should take a moment to pause before rushing to pass the draft Criminal Code (KUHP). The DPR must first address a critical issue: the consequences of inserting corruption clauses in the draft criminal code and codifying corruption crimes as ordinary crimes. Furthermore, the draft revision threatens the authority of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
