The inability of the government and the House of Representatives (DPR) to pass the eradication of sexual violence bill into law is truly concerning. After all, it was included in the National Legislative Program two years ago. This failure reflects the lack of support among lawmakers for women’s issues and their poor understanding of the urgency of this law.
