Although banned by law, 22 open waste dumping sites are still operating. The principle of reduce, reuse, recycle is still nothing more than a slogan.
IT is time for us to realize that the campaign to “dispose your garbage in the dump” is no longer appropriate. Trash that is collected, transported and dumped at final disposal sites (TPA) may well rid homes and the environment of waste, but this leaves a new and major problem.
