Our national health system failed to stem the spread of the pandemic. Stop politicizing the pandemic and entrust the handling of it to the medical authorities.
OUR health facilities are in a state of collapse before the Covid-19 pandemic has peaked. A number of referral hospitals in Jakarta and other major cities in Java are unable to accept any more Covid patients, whose numbers continue to grow, with records being broken every day.
As of Friday, July 9, the total number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia had surpassed 2.4 million, with new cases at 40,000 per day, and a daily death rate of over 700.
