The DPR removed a number of items from the list of violence offenses in the Sexual Violence Eradication Bill. This is prioritizing politics over the protection of victims.
THE sexual violence emergency has not spurred the House of Representatives (DPR) to pass the Sexual Violence Eradication Bill into law. Using a number of excuses, it has delayed the passing of this bill despite the fact that the number of victims continues to rise. As a result of the parliament's lack of empathy for the victims, it is increasingly difficult to prevent and deal with sexual crimes.
