Ceasefire in Aceh

There are major points and minor issues that should be noted in the ceasefire agreement signed between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) in Geneva, Switzerland on December 9. The major points consist of an end to all forms of violence and hostilities, disarmament and troop withdrawal. Only then can the process continue in peace.
