A REPORT that Wiranto, Adi Sasono, Fuad Bawazier and Eros Djarot had been involved in the recent student protests was difficult to confirm, the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) chief told a cabinet meeting last week. This classified information somehow leaked to the press. The issue gained momentum when the half-completed analysis became a political debate. General Wiranto has openly denied the charges.
