The intelligence service wants to be allowed to set its own limits to power. If this is allowed, authoritarianism is sure to return.

NEVER allow the intelligence service to arrest suspects. If they are allowed to do so, it will be too easy for abuses of power to take place. The role of the police will be undermined, and criminal law sidelined.
