TRANSPARENCY and the workers' welfare are two items promised by PT Jamsostek managing director, Achmad Djunaidi, in his speech at the Jamsostek national work meeting in Jakarta on September 16. For the 23 million laborers and workers (of which 11 million are actively participating) in the Jamsostek program, this promise was like a breath of fresh air.
