OVER the last week, there has been a succession of good news about the economy. The rupiah continues to strengthen, the interest rate of Bank Indonesia certificates (SBI) has fallen below the 10 percent mark to 9.53 percent, inflation in June was only 0.09 percent, the inflation rate for January to June this year was 1.23 percent and the year-on-year figure was 6.62 percent.
