The decision to set up an Aceh Special Authority Board is timely, but it must be done quickly, and be given full authority.

THE government has finally decided to coordinate its actions on Aceh. Perhaps in the not too distant future, problems like the lack of aid coordination will be overcome, if a single administration is established to manage all relief efforts in Aceh. The special authority board, as it will be known for the time being, will have full authority as well as full responsibility.
Hopefully, the board will start working within the next two or three week
